As we walked down to the water's edge we found tracks! These are not just any tracks, they are tracks of iron rail complete with crossties. It got better when we found the remains of two tracks. We are lucky to have decided to make the short walk or we would have missed this great find completely. Click any of the photos for a larger view.
The first view is looking back from the end of the railroad. The second view shows the second track which ended about 50 feet short of the first track. The third view shows a close up of the old iron rail.
