Bridge #3 is the former Pennsylvania Railroad bridge over the Christiana River located near the I-495 bridge and the Wilmington Marine Terminal. it has been out of service since the early 1990's due to piers on the approach trestle sinking into the mud of the Christiana River. The left photo show a river view of the bridge. The center and right photos show the bridge from the South side of the Christiana River. notice the approach trestle has a sag, this is the one that took the old bridge out of service.
