The underside of the bridge reveals that it's center portion is much older and has a stone abutment. Upon closer inspection we find a date in the stone of the original section telling us it dates back to 1883. We would love to know what A.E.R.H. stands for, if you know please email us.  The left photo again shows the shelf for the railroad and the ditch for the creek.
